I can understand how all the repetition would be annoying. However, it's not like you have to go into the thread and read them. Why not just ignore them? I don't like the American Idol threads that are posted year after year but I don't complain about them, I just ignore them.

I would like go on record stating that these threads included dozens of creative and imaginative posts that were all on topic. Each separate thread contained different references from the others so it wasn't like it was the same thing over and over again.

Isn't this kind fo thing is what the Rubber Room is for? There have been far worse topics discussed than scatology and have contained far less creative posts.

It has been discussed that the Rubber Room no longer contains the enjoyable amount of threads it used to. I believe this heavy-handed pruning of fun threads is why. This discourages people from posting there in the future.
